We are a non-profit group of businesses, educational institutions, and community leaders dedicated to the economic improvement of the City of San Marcos. Economic growth creates larger revenue sources, more jobs, and an improved quality of life for our community.
SMEDC believes that with your help we can materially advance the educational, cultural, and economic benefits for our current and future citizens. San Marcos is in a fantastic growth phase. Infrastructure needs are becoming critical. A new interchange needs to be funded. San Marcos needs more retail centers and a research and high-technology business campus. Your input would be valued. We meet as a board once a month with the City Director of Developmental Services.
